Principle Structure
The measurement and reading of water level changes consist of two main parts:
The underground material embedding part, consisting of a water level tube and a bottom cover (purchased separately)
The ground receiving instrument - a steel tape water level gauge, consisting of a measuring head, a steel tape cable,
a receiving system, and a winding reel.
Measuring Head Part: Made of stainless steel, with water resistance contact points installed inside. When the contact
points touch the water surface, it will activate the receiving system. When the contact points leave the water surface,
it will deactivate the receiving system.
Steel Tape Cable Part: The steel tape and wire are combined into one using plastic technology, which prevents rust on
the steel tape and simplifies the operation process, making the measurement and reading more convenient and accurate.
Receiving System Part: Consists of a sounder, indicator light. The sounder emits a continuous buzzing sound, and the
indicator light flashes.
Usage Method
When measuring, allow the reel to rotate freely, press the power button, insert the probe into the water level tube, hold
the steel ruler cable, and slowly lower the probe. When the contact point of the probe touches the water, the receiver
system's sounder will emit a continuous buzzing sound. At this point, read the depth measurement of the steel ruler
cable at the tube opening, which is the distance from the underground water level to the tube opening.
Precautions
A) When the probe's contact point touches the water, the sounder will emit a sound, and the indicator light will flash.
At this point, slowly release the steel ruler cable to carefully find the exact position of the sound or indication moment,
and then read the depth measurement from that point to the opening.
B) The accuracy of the reading depends on the timely judgment of the starting position of the buzzer or indicator. The
measurement precision is related to the operator's proficiency, so repeated practice and operation are necessary.
